Welcome to T and J Nursing Assistant Training School, a healthcare career school located at 8 East Prospect Avenue in Mount Vernon, NY. We help people start and grow careers in direct patient care through hands-on, practical training taught in a supportive classroom setting. Whether you want to become a nursing assistant, renew an existing certification, or work as a home health aide or personal care aide, our programs are built around the skills employers in Westchester County and the surrounding area look for.

Each program combines classroom instruction with hands-on skills practice in our lab, so students learn not only the “what” of patient care but also the “how” – from safe transfers and personal hygiene to infection control, communication and recording observations. Learn more about our school.
